Photography Poem is a project deeply rooted in romantic sensibility, weaving together the ethereal nature of poetry with the tangible reality of photographic imagery. Through this fusion, the emotions and thoughts conveyed by written verse become more concrete and accessible, whilst the visual medium provides rich material for the imagination, allowing readers to forge deeper connections with the poetic experience. The powerful and authentic concepts embedded within the photographic work find clearer expression through the guidance of poetic language, creating bridges of understanding that enable viewers to more directly encounter the essence of each image. Poetry illuminates the core of the photograph, whilst the photograph gives form to the abstract beauty of verse. The union between poetry and photography enhances rather than constrains creative expression. Whilst these paired media make the work more accessible to both readers and viewers, they preserve ample space for personal interpretation and imaginative exploration.
Photography Poem: Oxygen

Breathe in …
Breathe out …
In order to relax and refresh from the pressures of life, experience the sun and nature.
It is like oxygen, it resuscitates life.
- Benjamin J. Cheng

This series of photographic poems is inspired by the warm, clean and comfortable winds of late spring to early summer in the UK. The photographer sees the surrounding nature shining full of life and the sun brilliantly shines. The air is filled with the scent of verdant grass, leaves, flowers, sunshine... In such a comfortable and relaxing environment, even breathing is a pleasure, hence, the photographer created this series of photographs. This series of photographs is dominated by warmth and brightness, highlighting the feeling of sunshine, breeze and warmth. The photographer successfully completed the challenge of photographing transparent subjects. This requires not only professional and adept photography skills and artistic creativity, but also careful observation and analysis of the world.
